I'm making soft pretzels today - it's too bad my camera battery is still dead and my battery charger is still missing (not to mention the memory card stuck in an unnamed slot on my laptop), otherwise I would take pictures ( Read more... )

I can't wait to hear how the pretzels came out. are they the ones you need to boil?

i would second the sculpey or fimo suggestion. you could also use paper clay, which will dry in a day or two, but then you'd have to paint it to look like a cookie.

I boiled them in a water/baking soda mixture and they came out really good!

I think I'm going to try sculpey - is that what you use to make christmas ornaments and stuff like that? i always like how those have turned out.
