Missed you at The Vic last night - could have used someone who isn'ty embarrassed to have a little fun to cut through some of the politics.

Politics was *rife*.

I would have liked to go, if I wasn't working. Did you at least have a good time?

I had a good time, but I have a few friends who were feeling awkward with how blatent some of the territory-marking was. As usual, Ty's class and I closed the place.

Pilgrim's Progress as rolling papers??? memphishipshake June 30 2007, 03:06:00 UTC
This reminds me a bit of the Louisa May Alcott short story, "The Lotus Eaters," about some well-to-do Victorians holidaying in southern Europe, who decide to eat hash one day to ease their well-to-do ennui. Louisa M used to write some potboiler bodice-rippers for newspapers before she became a wholesome novelist (had to pay Marmee and Papa's bills somehow after the war). Virginal ladies start peaking at a Spanish villa and young rakes stagger around seeing visions of hell... but eventually true love prevails..."we owe it all to Hasheesh!"

I have some more like this I'll be posting up , Miss Hipshake.

Want to back your nephew up in August and do the convention this year? I *HAVE* to be there on the Sunday this year - Adam West is one of the guests this year and Malcolm MacDowall is there as well. If he can't make it you sghould come anyway because I can get you into a fun elbow-rubby party on teh night before.

I need you to document my full fledged West-MacDowall spazz attacks, Ma'am.
