Knock off points from them, then play it off like the Teachers are making you. If they think you are doing it because you have no choice in the matter, it'll go better for you.
That's why I called the Prefect meeting in the first place, so you would have an excuse to go, "It's not me, it's that stupid Head Boy making the Professors come down on all us prefects."
