I've been hearing a lot of people lately talk about immigrants coming in and taking American jobs. Well, this is what I have to say to these people: FUCK YOU. What makes these people think that they themselves aren't immigrants. Last I checked, the Natives of this country were here before us. And what happened to them? OH, that's right! They were ( Read more... )

indeed.

but at the same time, it's still really shitty. i mean you have people who are waiting to legally become a citizen of this country and some person is basically "cutting in line"

i don't have a real side to the issue though, sooooo i guess i can't really debate with you about the topic at hand.

I can see what you're saying. Those "cutting in line" I can't blame though. No one wants to help these people. Not even their own country. If I was in such a situation you better believe I would be compelled to 'cut in line' in search of a better way of living.

I get what you're saying, but what they're doing isn't legal and if they're so worried then they should come to America to be a legal citizen.

Yes, what happened to the Native Americans was not right. But these are modern times, what is going on now is a lot different.

This world is based on the ideal of illegal things. I just find it funny that americans would be so self-centered to think this whole immigrant situation is an atrocity. What, is going into another country and trying to make them change their ideas, laws and practices totally fine? We are a nation with an abundance of food and money and we kick 'illegal immigrants' out of this country only to migrate into another coutry and kick them out of their way of living. And yes, we are in modern times but one thing most people fail to notice is that history is just repeating itself. What's happening now has been happening for centuries. Its just happening on a more technologically-advanced level. I'm not trying to argue. I totally hear what you're saying. I just want some people to look at it in different perspectives.

do you know how hard it actually is to become a legal citizen? its not easy, and these people need to feed their families so you can't blame them at all. They need to live and they feel their country isn't providing them with all the necesities to do so there, so they come here to try to make a better life for themselves and their future generations. I don't see anything wrong with that. Sure it may not be legal, but just because somethings illegal doesn't make it right.
