Yesterday I completely failed to kill or maim punctured_lung or myself as I drove allezbleu's car across London to where she works. This was despite my best attempts as I'm sure he'll attest to. At least he started breathing normally again once I parked...
Not that I'm a bad driver, just an exciting driver. I'm sure gothicbarbiecat and lee_c_rip will agree

Kinda what we want to do with our computers (minus the MCSE training) Sadly I lack the technical knowhow to do it, and the boy is too lazy to sort it.

I can do wireless fine, what I cant do is get all our computers talking to each other. I plan to batter them into shape over the course of next week. I have loads of dead computers, I'm sure I can do something with them.

So, would that mean that anyone in the house could access the films, or have you set up specific access rights to that folder?

I will set up folder access so anyone in the house will be able to access what I want them to be able to access.
And access to the wireless network will naturally be configured to go by MAC addressing...

I really ought to learn how to do that for when I move into my new place. Trouble with living on your own: you don't get many chances to do any network admin pactice!
