Sigh, there goes my tummy again!

So here I was thinking my tummy problems had gone off (for a while at least) then all thanks to the CNY goodies, I had a sudden gastric attack yesterday. Thank gosh the doctor's at Mum's place was open on a public holiday. I hardly ate chilli over the CNY period but maybe it was just a combination of goodies and drinks that caused my stomach to act ( Read more... )

Hi Steph, I don't know why I have never read your journal before but last night I managed to read a few and it was so nice to see what you have been up to. I hope that you are feeling better. Gastric pain is no fun!

Hi Cuz Elaine, I heard from my Mum that you've not been well. I hope you are feeling better.

You bet, gastric pain is no fun at all. I somehow seem to always have tummy problems every few weeks. I have to carefully start watching what I eat from now onwards.

Have a great week and please send my love to the family. Keep in touch!

Love
Steph

Seems like Stephanie's health has not been too good over the past weeks. She is so prone to stomach problems and because she suffers from IBS she has to take extra care with her diet. She needs to be on a regular exercise regime as well which will definitely improve her general well being.

Ya Momma.....I am going to MAKE SURE I swim 3 times a week once i'm better. The last time I went for a swim, I felt so relaxed and "alive". Of course, I have taken note of all the things I can't eat (checked it out online and there is a whole list!). SOBS. See you soon!

Love

It definitely must be IBS Marie. You really have to be be extra careful with your diet and keep away from food that irritate your tummy. And yes, all that food over the Chinese New Year has not helped at all. You have been under some stress recently as well, and that does not help IBS from what I know.
I hope that you will be able to be more regular with some exercise when you are feeling better, at least twice to three times a week will be good for you.
Glad Dad had a nice time in the Philippines with his two guy friends. I think with all the stress he's under, he needs to take breaks away from Singapore to help clear his mind.
I have not been for the Ash Wednesday service in a few years and it felt good to attend Mass yesterday evening. I think the season of Lent helps us to reflect on ourselves and our lives and the true meaning of Easter.
Love & Hugs
Mum xx
