Chinese New Year Visiting...

What a nice sunny day! I'm sure it must be "good luck" compared to the heavy downpour we had yesterday afternoon. I'm going to visit my Nana at tea time. Dad is out of town so i'll go see her on my own. I'm not sure if my other Uncles and Aunts are getting together today or tomorrow but i'll just do my own thing as Dad is away. Aunt Mei Mei came by

Last day of the holidays

How time flies Marie. It's the last day of the Lunar New Year holidays and back to work for most people tomorrow. It's been a good weekend with good food, good company and relaxation.
It did start out as a sunny day yesterday and we ended up having to use our umbrellas when we were at Little India. Looks like everyone had the same idea of going to Mustafa's as that was most probably the only shopping centre that was open. And I believe Ikea also opened their doors.
After such a long day yesterday, it was good to be back home and fortunately we had some balance food for dinner which I cooked for Sunday's lunch. Nothing much to watch on TV though so we ended up turning in earlier than usual.
Glad we made up for not attending Sunday Mass by spending some time at the Novena church.
