Biting Off More (Jalapeno) Than I Can Chew

I spotted a variety pack of peppers, mostly jalapeno, at the grocery store and instead of thinking, like a normal person would, that it was more then one small family could possibly consume, my immediate reaction was, Ooh! PROJECT!I would turn them into something, I decided...Jelly, of course! (Because what else do you do with a dozen jalapenos

Yum, jalapeño jelly.

I recommend that you meticulously avoid rubbing your eyes (or any other mucous membranes) with your hands for a couple of days, unless you enjoy the sensation of white-hot fire.
