010 [voice - japanese]: town team [morning]

[First thing you hear is a very loud yawn] Morning. [half asleep] Even though it's a hotel and everything, it was really hard to sleep... this town is... [she trails off uncertainly.]

...Yuck, and it's still dark. Why do I keep waking up so early?

[There's a pause; she's walking outside, as you might be able to tell by the sounds - doors opening

[Pan wasn't the only one who had trouble to sleep - as if the unnatural silence weren't bad enough news, that roar had clinched the deal. Knowing he won't be able to go back to sleep, Donald decides to get some fresh air. Walking through the entrance to the hotel, he spots the young girl and walks over to her.]

Good morning Pan.

[Pan had found herself an overhang to sit under, chin in her hands, and although she had been unable to sleep in a bed, she was finding herself drifting off into a trance staring into space and hearing... absolutely nothing. Anymore, anyway.

So she wasn't startled when Donald approached - it had been easy to hear him coming.]

[She yawned - again - when she opened her mouth to greet him]

'Morning.

[It took him a few tired seconds to realize that they'd greeted each other in different languages. Feeling rather silly to use it when she was right next to him, he started to type into the communicator.]

I take it you haven't seen anything strange.

[Pan can't help but grin, a little, at the typing. Something about it is really sort of funny. She shakes her head no to the written question while pulling out her own communicator.]

I haven't seen anything. It's too dark.

Haven't heard anything either. Since that roar thing.

[She winces at the memory without realizing she's doing so.]

[Johnny comes out a little after daybreak. He has NO IDEA what she said, but he does know she doesn't speak English, so when he walks up to her he hands her his communicator, which has what he wants to say on it.]

Good morning. Sleep well?

[panofbread]

[She makes a face and shakes her head no - no, I did not, is the message.

But to be safe, she also types it out - on his communicator, before handing it back. It crosses Pan's mind that maybe picking up a few words of English might come in handy. Of course, it would be equally polite if the others learned her language. Maybe even more so.]

[Oh, yeah - she typed out:] Not really. Woke up early and decided to keep watch.

[He's kind of gotten used to passing the communicator back and forth with him and Mitsuko, so he waits patiently until she hands it back and then reads her message. Responds:]

How long have you been watching? Hear anything besides that roar?

[panofbread]

[Shakes her head no. Types:] Just the rain. It's been totally quiet.

[Pause, and then she adds:] If they were gonna ambush us, you'd think they'd have done it while we were still sleeping. [, before handing it back.]
