Gah - uni offers come in on Wednesday. I know that I'll get into Arts but things have a habit of going wrong for me so we might see an 8-UAI-point rise in reqs for Arts this year, haha :p What am I intending to do at Uni? EVERYONE says that the phil you are going to do sucks.

The other 1st year phil (ethics, metaphysics (mind) and beauty) is much better. A lot of people did that society&reason unit in first sem (it was in first sem a couple of years ago), which killed their philosophy passion. The other option is philosophical logic which is decent...

The Beauty topic is apparently almost identical to the "Mind and Morality" topic I did last summer so it's pointless to do the same stuff all over again. I was thinking of doing Introductory Logic but it sounds so boring, "Society, Knowledge, and Reason" sounds interesting and seing as I'm doing Sociology perhaps more significant for me??? The "Reason" section also includes some very basic argument structuring crap, etc. Anyway I have another 6 months to think about/change my courses for Semester 2 - no rush!
