Hehehhehehe, I'm so glad to hear you found them both in-character! I'm finding Dean really fun to write, almost as fun as Miles. I guess I have a THING for the snark, lol. But I'm still nervous about writing Cas, becase I don't know his whole story, just what he's like in general from watching youtube clips.

Which I NEED to stop doing, I'm afraid I'm going to spoil myself! But Misha is just so beautiful and AGH I NEED HIM ON MY TV SCREEN RIGHT NOW. What season does he come in, again? Becaue I'm ready to power through the rest of s1 and s2, just to get to him. <33333

by a thread; Bishop/Aidan, light R pann_cake August 8 2011, 17:59:15 UTC
Aidan always acts surprised whenever they end up here--against the wall, on the velvet couch, in the shower washing away the carnage. He always looks at Bishop like he's remembering something long-past, something that was once sweet and good.

Bishop remembers too, though he says nothing. He sat with Aidan while he turned, while he died and was reborn. He nursed him through the pain and the fog, gave him his first taste of warm blood. He knows Aidan still hates him for it, but he remembers those days as a gift--when Aidan still needed him.

"Where are you?" Aidan murmurs, still hazy from the blood and the sex, drunk on it. Bishop looks down at him, runs a thumb across the frown lines on Aidan's forehead.

Bishop kisses him, more gently than either of them are truly comfortable with. He breathes against Aidan's lips, remembering.

"I was back when you were mine."

Brass Knuckles, PG, John/Sherlock, WARNING: for schmoopy, schmoopy schmoop and iffy characterization primarycolors92 August 8 2011, 02:18:48 UTC
By the time Sherlock learns that John is more fascinating than any murder in the world, he is so hopelessly enamored that all he can feel is awe.

Sherlock lives to unwrap John, layer by layer, to open a box shaped like a teddy bear and find a pair of brass knuckles inside. Every time is an adrenaline rush like Sherlock has never felt. He can barely even remember what it feels like to sink under the weight of his own boredom.

Sherlock's latest discovery is almost too delightful to keep to himself. Almost. It only happens when John is very, very tired but not grumpy, a rare combination, and as far as Sherlock knows it only happens when they are alone.

John, Sherlock discovers, is bitchy. Not just bitchy; fabulously, inventively, infinitely bitchy. He can open his mouth and cut anyone to shreds in a few, casually chosen words ( ... )

Oh this is so cute. I love how Sherlock is totally aware that he's in love with John and that it clouds his thinking, lol. And bitchy!John is amazing! I love that Sherlock tests it, because he totally would. And I giggled at the teddy bear bits. <3333

Thank you! I think Sherlock being aware of his infatuation with John is maybe a stretch? But on the other hand, who isn't in love with John?

I did a series re-watch (so much easier with only three episodes) last week and now I just want more!!!

Find No Solace, PG, Kate/Claire, post-"The End" primarycolors92 August 8 2011, 04:04:51 UTC
"You promised!" Claire yells, and she can tell that she is shrieking, that she is that desperate, needy harpy of a girlfriend every woman is warned against trying to be.

Claire does not care; when she came home Kate's suitcase was half-packed under their bed and Kate had promised.

"Claire," Kate pleads, hair still dripping from her shower.

"No." No. Claire asked for one thing and Kate had promised. "You keep a packed suitcase under the bed? For what? In case being with me gets too boring?" Claire spits out each word with all of the incredulity she can muster (it's a lot). "My god, it's like Thomas all over again! What, do I have a sign on my face that says 'I'm an idiot, please use me'? Or do I just attract absolute assholesKate reaches out for her with trembling hands. Claire bats away her fingers with faltering strength. Kate is crying and it is the first sign that something is not right here, that Kate is not Thomas. Claire feels dampness against her own collarbones and blinks in confusion. More tears fall; ( ... )
