Urgghh, I feel your book pain. Tbh, nothing compares to HP, seriously. Lately I've resorted to sticking to the classics cause all the modern stuff just tries to be HP or Twilight and it's pathetic and painful to read, lol.

Oh yeah, nothing compares to Harry Potter! or Twilight. Lol, so true. they are so good. Epic! I don't know what to recommend you but I loved other books like: - The sisterhood of the travelling pants - by Ann Brashares. There are 4 books and are lovely, they are about a beautiful story about four friends. Friendship and stuff. - A great and terrible beauty - Libba Bray. This is the Gemma Doyle trilogy books. it's a great story!!
