You know its interesting how people you trust can betray you and then turn around and make you the scapegoat and blame you for their own betrayal. It just makes me wonder sometimes of Tadziu's parents had it right all along..."use anyone you can and dont bother being nice unless its to get something from them, especially power, position or money."

it does seem that way at times.
there is a balance. a bit of selfishness goes a long way sometimes, and it doesnt have to be detrimental to any friendships.
I wish I had some reading for ya, but Ive got nothing to help specifically - but I will say the most inspiring book I read recently was called "the creative spirit" by daniel goleman, paul kaufman, and michael ray. basically, about how to liberate the creative soul within you and help it better your life.

Betrayals are what helps fill in the pit of wrath I had forming since I was young. Usually I'm pretty clam and even take being yelled at at the store with scarcely a blink, but it only takes one thing to make me seethe in manners that make Ragnarok look like a cheerful side deversion.

All and all, I don't want that kind of karma stacking up against me. Using people, manipulating them... yeah it WORKS, but look at how you feel about them? Would you really want someone else or everyone to feel that way about you?

I have enough hatred in my life without having to ask for more, IMHO.

I've been thinking about you often. Hang in there.
