just wait until he starts learning how to walk... ;)

i have no idea what this thing is. some sort of baby carrier? there's a reason those things have straps....
usually.

No, It's like a baby seat thing. It helps them sit up when they can't do it on their own quite yet. It actually doesn't have straps, but it's also really not meant to be on a surface in the air. I have one because Jonathan's mom got us one. I just get irritated at peoples lack of sense.

understandably. if you don't strap a kid in they're going to get out. especially when you think they still can't... they up and surprise you. it's amazing what a little leaning can accomplish. and mine was a curious little beastie. i imagine a lot are.

I guess that is why I am so mad about it. I could see it if there were straps, but there aren't. One would think that with no straps you wouldn't consider leaving your baby in it on a counter or table and then turn your back or walk away. It just irritates me.

i don't have a kid but... melmo187 October 25 2007, 22:08:34 UTC
the common sense thing bothers me too. badly. i don't know anyone who left their kid unattended and the child was BADLY hurt (this is because my friends and family are all at least moderatly intelligent) but if i did and they did i wouldn't let them blame the company that made the fake babysitter - that is just silly.

on a side note, my parents were under investigation by CPS when we were little and living in utah because my sister had so many bruises. turns out everyone in my family bruises easily (especially my mom and my sister). i have a HUGE black bruise on my leg right now. just so you know, people always think the worst - this is why my parents were investigated (they were turned in by concerned neighbors). just keep in mind, those busy bodies mean well... i think... mostly.

This is why Emily just used her Boppy. Really Colored foam isn't going to do any better than when my mother used to put me in one of those doorway jumpers. Emily has a door jumper and loved it until she was too big. STUPID parents. It even says in the instructions use on a flat surface and to not leave child unattended. TARDS!!

and I agree with all that has been said. I just had to reply to this one because you have to honor the squirrelly wrath.
