Summary: Gabriel's been giving Sam various types of syrup.

Gabriel likes to leave presents for Sam. Trinkets in his duffel, a book on his bedstand, single portions of foreign food at mealtimes, word and trivia games when they're between hunts. For the most part, harmless things that never fail to make Sam smile.
But the series of various syrups, some of which Sam's actually had to look up, that Gabriel's taken to giving him recently has caught Dean's attention and Dean never fails to take advantage of an opportunity to tease Sam. And after three weeks, he's still taking advantage of it.
Sam's doing his best to ignore Dean's remarks, which are often innuendo-laden, but when the label of the most recent bottle of syrup says "A sweet treat for that special person," it's hard not to think that maybe Dean has a point. So, the next time Gabriel stops by to help with the latest hunt, Sam asks him about it.
"Whare you giving me this?"
Gabriel blinks at him, at the bottle Sam's holding like a sheild in front of him. "It goes fabulously with pancakes?"
Scowling, Sam staps a finger at the words on the bottle. "I mean. Why this?"
"Oh, that." Gabriel smirks and rocks back on his heels. "I thought it might be...fun."
And that's the same exact tone Dean's been using to tease Sam about the possible reasons Gabriel's been giving him syrup and Sam's had about enough of it. "Fun?! This is your idea of fun?! I was starting to think that maybe you actually meant something and then it's all just a bit of fun to you? I don't--mmph!"
Gabriel's mouth is warm against his, hand solid against the back of Sam's neck, and after a moment of shock, Sam relaxes into it. Pulling away just far enough to talk, Gabriel says, "There are some very fun things two people can do with a bottle of syrup, you know."
Sam stares at him. "Oh."
The archangel huffs, rolling his eyes. "Exactly. And, not that this isn't nice, but can we get to the fun part, already?"
