AWESOME SAUCE! I can't wait until you upload these. I can never have enough paintings for my Sims. And I am proud of you for defeating your rage and frustration! I would not have the patience to do that.
I actually almost quit at one point. I figured that I must've fucked up the alpha on the texture, so I went back into Photoshop to fiddle with it, got it back in the game, and found out that the frame was recolorable...BUT THE PICTURE WOULD DISAPPEAR. I flipped out.
There's so much legwork to creating real CC (and I would barely consider this real CC, it's basically just a simple texture replacement), but it's so worth it. I was about ready to get a bottle of champagne when I got a workable version of this picture in my game. I think there might've actually been a choir of angels.
If my estimates are right, once I make some choices on what pictures to use and what to toss, I'll probably have 45 or so to upload. Apparently I fail at making choices.
