Oh is this new? *checks date*

It's lovely and poignant and I sort of love this bit:

He firmly decides on what he is going to say because he cannot stand to have these little thoughts of Merlin, Merlins who are not the Merlin who stands before him, Merlins who are only half as captivating, especially when there's real Merlin there.

That in the end, it's just Merlin that he wants as he is and ever was ^_^.

It's not really new, just a repost from the meme because a few typos were bugging me XD

Thank you for the lovely comment :D

This is stunning! I love all the different ways that Arthur sees Merlin and how, in the end, he wants nothing else, just Merlin.

The three words are vague, though Arthur's two were also, and Arthur has forgotten to tell Merlin the most important part of all. This should last forever, they should grow old and rule the kingdom fair, and not for one second does Arthur imagine it all without Merlin. He sees the future in those eyes and Arthur captures it to keep with his lips.

Beautiful. :) Two words and three in response, so succinct (a good thing for these boys!) and so full of meaning at the same time. Ahhh, I am all a-flail with happinness at this paragraph and what they'll have forever with each other. ♥

This is both lovely and clever - Arthur's day dreaming about different aspects of Merlin's personality, gradually opening his eyes to how he really feels. I really enjoyed how he built each fantasy and then discarded it, when it reached too far to fit Merlin.
And I loved this line - For all the fantasising Arthur has been subjected to, he has never quite managed any futher than this point. because that felt so right.
Very nice.
