Thank you! I'd never written Faith before and was a little anxious about getting it right, so I'm glad you found it true to form. :)

Oh, this is great. I always wish there'd been more exploration of the Faith-Willow dynamic on the show, and I think your version is spot-on. Your Faith voice is especially well done, and I love the bits of her history you've described.

I absolutely think these characters could have had this conversation, and it's now part of my personal post-series canon. Thanks for writing!

Aww, thank you! Praise doesn't get much better than that. *g*

Firstly, I wanted to thank you, because this fic made me want to do something I haven't done in almost two years - write Buffy fic again. Secondly - I love it, I love it, I love it. I've never read such a gritty, credible, relateable Faith before; I think you nailed her voice perfectly. And I loooove the interaction between her and Willow - akward, vaguely painful, yet cute and witty and just a bit tender. Got me in all the right places. :)
I'm liking your subtly lovely command of language here, your ability to pick out the detail in a way that makes it all very real. Just...I have no complaints about this story. I think in someone else's hands the prompt could so easily have been bungled, but in yours it's sensitive without being saccarine and heart-breaking, but coloured by hope.

Also, I'm totally adding you and this writing journal, if that's okay. :P

Thank you so much! This is the kind of praise that makes the writing and blogging business worthwhile - and you're more than welcome to friend my journals, though I can't pretend the content is breath-taking. :)
