In the beginning of summer, both of my family dogs passed away. As they were both old dogs, one was twelve and a half and the other was thirteen, nearly fourteen, this was not unexpected. As callous as this sounds, we weren't sure they would make it through the winter. They did though and then they went within weeks of each other. I tell you
