Wilson didn't usually mind carpooling to medical conferences with House. For some reason, the car was just about the only place the jerk would ever shut up for any length of time. Wilson thought maybe it had something to do with the fact that the scenery changed constantly and if one spent too much time making snide remarks about something, one might miss something even better.

"Office of A Perfect Moment Wedding Chapel," House read aloud, finding something that couldn't be denied comment and breaking the silence.

Wilson glanced up from the article he was reading and peered out the window. The building looked abandoned, and if it wasn't, it probably should have been. The words that House had read were incomplete; letters had fallen off and hadn't been replaced. There didn't appear to be glass in all of the windows and a lopsided air conditioning unit stuck out from one of the ones on the side. The paint was chipped, peeling and faded. Wilson suspected it had once been white but now it was a sickly shade of grey and the door was an ugly yellow that Wilson had only encountered once when his niece was particularly ill and had coughed a wad of phlegm onto his shirt. All in all, it looked like a sorry excuse for any kind of building, let alone one devoted to 'a perfect moment.'

"How profound," House snorted. "Is that where you got married, Jimmy?"

Wilson pointedly ignored him.

"It's sure ended up looking like your marriages," he continued.

Wilson pointedly ignored him some more.

House didn't give up. "Then again, if you'd gotten married there, it wouldn't look like such a shit hole. I mean, they wouldn't even have to book any other clients. The money they'd get from the sheer number of your weddings alone could keep them in repairs for decades."

Finally, Wilson spoke. "Why do I even let you anywhere near me?" he wondered.
