So Sanguinary.. isn't really working out. Raids starting at 9pm are definitely good, but ending at 1am.. not so much. I think 8-830 is still my ideal raid start time, with 12 the ideal finish time (or earlier! :D). My daughter has just started school, so I have to get up early Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays, which means late night raiding on Sunday ( Read more... )

holy will always beat disc when it comes to hps since disc is mostly dmg mitigation anyways :3 i actually like raid healing as disc! just my heals don't hit as hard :(

I don't mind raid healing as disc either, if the other healers aren't bad. Bubble, PoH, PoM & divine hymn ftw. I'm getting pretty good at spamming bubbles on the raid. :D Once in a 10man I managed to keep just about everyone bubbled constantly lol xD

there are some fights where disc priests simply rock (mimiron 25s, freya 10 hard (with 3 keepers) and vezax hard come to mind) but there are just as many where holy really shines.

I specced lutzi disc for a bit, yay disc. Wasn't amazingly impressed by it and felt somewhat gimped. Took her back to holy and enjoyed it a lot more. Maybe i'm just stuck in my ways. But jesus disc is amazing for pvp.

In TF they always required me to be disc for Thorim, and stay out in the arena, because spamming bubbles on the melee out there helped the other healers a lot. Disc for Vezax too. On Mimiron they usually wanted me to be holy, so I could GS the tank in phase one (tho PS works just as well I guess) and do big raid heals in phase 2. These weren't hardmodes though.. I'm really interested to try some of them.
