if you hover over newsfeeds of those you don't care about, an 'options' thing pops up - select it and then click 'more about soandso' or 'less about soandso'. it really does help.
i dunno what's up w/your picture not appearing though!

Yeah, the "less about so-and-so" is one of my favorite fb features :) Because there's the set of people I actually want to read about, and the other set of people I don't really know but I added them because they added me first (even though they probably only added me to up their friend count).

i added a whole bunch of people ... probbly nearly 100! merely because of 'pet society'. i made a secure group to add them to and they're on my list only so that i have more people to visit & make more $$ :p i use that 'less about soandso' for all of them.
