Happy Thanksgiving! It sounds like you will have quite the feast. My parents have been visiting for the holiday, which has been lovely.

I love how all your cats helped out in their assorted ways. "From each according to their abilities..."

The food sounds just lovely. (Incidentally, I'd never heard of anyone being allergic to pumpkins, but upon reflection, it must be possible to be allergic to just about anything.)

I haven't learned to do Thanksgiving with genuine grace, but this year I managed to do it feeling relaxed and friendly, which is definitely a step in the right direction. It was a good day.
