There all week and then home for the long weekend now she seems to be doing great. Excited, ambitious and getting involved and active at school already I think it will go well for her.
I know! She was like 13 years old when she went to Dallas with us and now she is heading out on her own. Always independent and confident she had a great first week and will surely do great from here out.
Oh I'm just fine. Mature, independent and a little sure of herself sometimes I was pretty okay with her being ready to leave. Just the right time and ready. Some may not be as much but she was just one that was ready to go (18 is there for a reason.LOL... once they know everything its time to get out and find out how much they don't know) and I was ready to let her go.
Good first week there too. Already made tons of friends, joined all sorts of activities and active around campus I just know she'll do fine.
Congrats, to Emma and her proud mom too. - And thank you for sharing Em's new home, my dear Nurse Pam; it always brings a smile upon my face to see you posting at LJ.

I'm more excited and optimistic for her than anything. Not sad at all.
