89 degrees and rising...

I have been praying hard for good weather and luckily it paid off! It's currently 89F with a high of 93F...0% chance of rain. A perfect day to go see Willie Nelson at an outdoor venue! I can't wait! My only problem is what to wear. Despite living here for so many years I do not have any cowgirl getup. Hmmmm...

Aw, I saw Willie outdoors a few years ago and it was a great time! I'm glad the weather is perfect for it, and hope you have fun at your show, too :)

The crowd was pretty mixed at the show I went to, so I wouldn't think cowgirl getup is all that necessary ;). There were a lot of hippies and people in jeans and t-shirts...all sorts of people, really.

Oh cool! The show was fab, indeed! Although, his daughter (Paula) opened for him and I enjoyed her but my mom & Jon didn't! Ha! Have you seen her before?

Yeah, the crowd was very mixed at this show as well. It was mostly bikers & their bitches, really old couples, young college kids (mostly gaggles of girls) and very few cowboys, surprisingly!!! Oh yes, and the hippies were out in full force as well! heh.

Willie was big pimpin'! He was really good...bu it wasn't terribly eventful...int that nothing crazy or extra exciting happened. It was just Willie singing his hits! ;)

Uh, good luck with the downtown thing! Have you been near downtown today? At about 3pm we tried to go to the botanical garden at Zilker but there was NO parking at all!!! The we drove downtown (Congress) and it took forever to get out, I've never seen it so busy!!!!!!! But, I'm up for the adventure if you guys are going! Woo hoo!!! Cannot wait fot Gogol! Yee haw!
