About weaning, try to break out of your normal routine to make it easier. I started giving Wren a sippy cup with some water and driving around the block at nap time to get her out of the nurse and cuddle to sleep. Worked like a charm, but she ended up napping in the car a lot (I was too afraid to try and move her). We ended our morning nursing when Ian's mom came for a visit and was the first one to get to her one morning. She started playing with her and Wren never thought about getting into our bed and nursing again. Of course, this meant we had to jump up and start playing instead of having a lay about for another hour, but it's worth it... good luck! And watch out for the hormone crash when you cut out the last feeding. No one warned me and I was in a deep depression for about two weeks. It's a loss, and you will end up crying. And your boobs will vaporize.
