Valentine, dressed out in his stolen borrowed suit jacket and trousers, took a deep breath before he knocked on Naminé's door.
It wasn't that he was nervous, really. Aside from the fact that he had no ability to dance whatsoever, the fact that his clothing today was acquired by slightly questionable means, and the fact that he was dating who he figured to be the most attractive girl in the school/town/world, he really didn't have anything to be nervous about. Really.
Valentine took a very, very deep breath as the door opened and held out a handful of hastily picked wildflowers he had grabbed before making his way up to her room.
Too late to catch the flu now, Valent-- Oh.
Oh hello.
He grinned. He grinned a very large grin. It was entirely possible that a little piece of his mind had shorted out on him, maybe some crayon in his brain melted and he was stuck that way.
"Hello, Naminé. What a lovely face you have on tonight."
This was why he loved her. Well. One reason. Of many.
