あおじろい の きょぞう - Aojiroi no Kyozou - Shino Takes You on a Tour

Jul 05, 2012 13:05

Hi, Everyone!

Long time no post . . . I do hope to change that, but don't hold me to it _too_ tightly!

Shino (VOLKS SD16 Ami Ayase, FDQ version, named for the delightful Shino Shigeta) would love to show you around the garden around my home - care to join her?

This is wonderful. I can't get over how it all looks like it's been there for years. Everything has taken so well. You did a magnificent job. And your Shino is just lovely. I adore her kimono with high heeled red pumps! Thanks so much for the tour.
PS the pic of the solar lanterns isn' showing for me.

Thanks, Am!

Shino loves to be a bit modern and elegant - she's . . . an interesting lady, she is!

Thanks for the heads-up about the lantern pic - I realized I'd uploaded it twice, but deleted the wrong one!

Thanks!

I bought that kimono pre-loved at a recent meetup, but IIRC, it originally came from an e-Bay seller in Japan.

Thanks!

I hope you're right, and the various plants don't push and shove each other too much!

Thanks, Aree!

Shots of dolls in the garden are something I really should do more of . . .

I found that gardenia at a local nursery by smell, lol! Its label says "partial shade", but it's probably close to its maximum level of shade where it is. (It's also very dry these last couple of weeks!) You're welcome to come up & visit, smell & photograph any time!!

Your garden turned out beautifully. :] It must have been a ton of work. Shino is gorgeous too. <3

Thanks, Rory!

It was a lot of work, but beauty often is - and I've found it's generally worth the investment!

The fireflies seem to be appreciating it too - there are a _lot_ of them out there every evening!

Glad you enjoyed. That kimono might look familiar . . . and I like it a lot!!
