This is absolutely beautiful, and a perfect tribute to Morse and Lewis's relationship. I'd love to see Robbie tell James even a bit of his relationship with Morse, and this is so insightful and true of the two of them, as well as showing the similarities between Morse and James.

Just one nitpick - Morse didn't have that entire house to himself. He had a split-level flat with an entrance around the side - remember, he had the living-room and tiny kitchen and then upstairs a small bathroom and one or two bedrooms. He even referred to it as a flat.

Looking forward to the other stories!

Re house/flat - Damn! Could have sworn it was a house but that does explain a few things - always thought it was a bit extravagant.

...and yes, I'd love to have seen Robbie tell James about Morse in the show and hear thier interpretation. Glad you agree with mine.
