I think they've really got Dean in a unique position here where he's had far more experience at life (and death) and anyone else his (apparent) age, but the whole situation he's in with Ben and Lisa he's completely new to. He only had four years as a kid and a "normal" person, so... that's a big adjustment to make. :)
