Thanks! :) I'm glad you liked it and enjoyed the case. I always worry when I post something unbetaed 'cause sometimes it sounds like a good idea in my head, but really *isn't* on paper. :)

That or I use the same word over and over and over and don't catch the repetition.

I was anxious to get his one up while the meme is still fresh and active and so I can get back to my bigbangs and other fics I'm *supposed* to be working on. :)

Me and my knee brace sympathize enormously at the moment. Poor Dean.

And I love how Sam takes care of Dean in the end. He needs it even though he'll never admit it.

They would totally say that, wouldn't they? It's good to know my Sam and Dean muse still works at 3am with no beta and a mountain of procrastination. I just hope roque-clasique approves/enjoys when she gets herself back online (since it is her prompt). :)

I'm with you on the never enough limping!Dean fic. Glad you liked this!! I could have waited to send it to betas, but it *is* supposed to be a comment-fic meme and I was itching to post. And ooh *shiny* I wrote a fic under 7K!! *bounces* That is soooooo cool. I hope the pacing on this worked?? I was a bit worried it was haphazard and all over the place.

He had waterproof matches, two lighters, a bottle of vicodin, and a folded-tiny emergency blanket in his pocket, headlamp strapped to his head, and a Maglite on a carabiner hooked into a belt loop on his jeans. He wasn’t prepared, but that was as good as it was gonna get.

That? Sounds strangely sexy. And together with the uncool (not in my eyes....yummy) raincoat, you painted me a wonderful, sexy, soaked (ohmygod...I so love soaked Dean) and above all TOUGH Dean. And that leg-brace... hmmmm, does crazy things to me, you know? Like that holster in "The End".
I'm a little weird....

This is really pretty awesome. Very worthy of roque's prompt, I'll say. I love this Dean, and Sam, and that Dean didn't even realize what a tremendous task he just accomplished.

(Oh, by the way? My knee HURTS. Thanks for being so descriptive... ouch, I say. Ouch.)

I'm glad the descriptive picture of Dean comes through and that you find it so sexy! And yeah, that holster in "The End" is awesome, so I'm very flattred the leg brace is in the same vein in terms of sexiness! :D

I really hope Roque finds it worthy of her prompt. I wasn't sure if the hurt/comfort or the permanent injury was epic enough... I tried to focus on it, but my muse got rambly with explantion and stuff (although it sounds like the explanation worked!!). :)

Ooh, ooh, and there totally need to be more fics with soaked!Winchesters. They don't hunt in the pouring rain enough! *pouts*
