Not the worst song, not the saddest song -- though there's a lot of sorrow in there, if you look -- but the ugliest. It's unflinching, and an interesting example of calculated, artistic use of ugliness as theme.

I feel roughly this way about Eminem's "Stan", although the song you quote achieves yet another level of Ugly in that it's not merely about physical and criminal and emotional fuckedupedness, but also spiritual. Be the first on your block to collect all four. :P
