The long rec entry first -- I did keep something of a travel journal over at pitas, but I'll post these here later once I have my pictures uploaded.

One advice about 海岭荒城, don't ever read it at night and by yourself. It has taken me several weeks to overcome the fear of sleeping by myself. It is a pretty good horror story, but toooooo terrifying for me.

四方艳谭之枕竹 is good for entertainment and relaxing, and I like the fox spirit inside. It is so lovely.

I am going to try Dongzhi this weekend.

Since Dongzhi is the only one out of all the stories I'm following to be updated daily, it's the one I'm reading with the greatest enthusiasm right now. So far it's also the most unpredictable of them all.

I have read one story written by this author before, in fact, it is her first serialization. It was very well accepted in JJ, the rating was quite high. But I don't like it very much, feeling it just not my cup of tea -- both the uke and the seme are too passive. Maybe the author was trying to demonstrate the power of a tragedy. However, the way she wrote makes the ending seem like fault of no one else, but both the seme and the uke.

Yes, I read the other one as well. I thought it was okay -- well written, just not appealing to me. This one however -- I'm not sure that I like the characters either, but they're definitely much more colorful and interesting. Almost as if the previous story was in black and white and this one is in technocolor.
