Oh, damn, this was so powerful and so devastating. Your Bobby voice, both internalized and not, was wonderful. The atmosphere you've created here is so oppressive and yet Dean's desperation ignites within it, like flames popping from a dwindling fire.

This is wonderful, very tense, very oppressive, you can taste the desperation in every move as it all comes together.

Yeah, Bobby is good for that. :) He throws out those one liners that seem to shake Dean up a bit, strips him down. Besides Sam, who Dean compartmentalizes, I think Bobby is really the only one who can get through Dean's self-built, thick protective layer.

Hi Erin!

I am working on part 2 now that I've finished that last meta (the fiction and nonfiction parts of my brain seem to be mutually exclusive). I'm not sure if I've got Missouri's voice down, but she's sure a lot of fun to write, almost as much fun as Bobby. :)

Thanks so much for the cheerleading (yay!). It's been a while since I've written fanfic, but I thought I could use it to practice my time/no time transitions. Heh. We'll see where this little fic goes...
