Was anyone else waiting in anticipation to see how the contestant on Jeopardy would pronounce Palahniuk...She was wrong by the way.

The correct pronunciation is Paula-Nick. I always thought that was interesting considering his grandparents were named Nick and Paula Palahniuk.

I saw an interview with Chuck a long time ago and he made reference to how the pronunciation of his last name was the first names of two of his grandparents.

Well, in Ukrainian there is different pronunciation (something like paalaahnyuk, h must be pronounced too as well). The last syllable is stressed. Just in case, if we speak about 'right' variant.
