It's official

The house is on the market. We are not going to try to sell. It's too flat right now, so we will rent it out for a few yeas and then try to sell when the market  improves.  I knew this time was coming, but I just never really thought about it. Now I realize how much I will miss this place. 20 years is a long time and there are so many memories here

My parents always got a little frustrated with themselves regarding living in a house for several years, then finally getting it fixed up right before selling it, so they didn't even get to enjoy the "fixed up" part very much. I think it's a bit common. :-)

At least we will get to spend some time in it before we leave. When we moved from FL to CA 30 years ago, we literally put the finishing touches on it the morning we left!!!
