It was an insane screaming in his head that would not go away but merely escalate for every second that he didn't go to it; he, rather, did not want to stray from it anyway. He abandoned the misadventures of the wretched Light-things and the train, of breaking his fingers before being able to melt away. He didn't feel the pain anymore, unless he tried to curl his fist or do anything at all with his left hand. By now, in his muddled brain, he had deduced that the human structure was much more of a burden than his previous, monster self.
Heartless had been driven absolutely crazy in a matter of seconds and had burst from himself, melting into a shadow on the ground and disappearing from his earlier surroundings. He had no sense of distance nor location, and so the space that seperated him from Ansem (oh yes, that name he knew) left no bearing in his head. All these dimensions that humans hold so dear meant little ( ... )

Still, it was very annoying. But annoyance soon warped into an unnerved feeling when the sensation became stronger-- it was hard for Zexion to decide whether the presence was simply getting closer, or experiencing a power increase. Whichever it was, he could tell it wasn't good. He just couldn't let it go unchecked, especially after the most recent burst. It absolutely reeked of Darkness, causing Zexion to involuntarily let out a sound of protest as a hand reflexively flew up to cover over his mouth and nose.
That was not supposed to be going on.
Brows furrowed as he slowly drew his hand away from his face, a scowl set firmly at his lips as he determined that, yes, now was the time to investigate, his restrictions be damned. And so, now ( ... )

She probably thought he was insane.
Hell, he thought he was insane. Atleast, he did until he arrived here with the giant key from his dreams in his hands. Everything he dreamt about was becoming real. He couldn't accept that. He didn't know what to believe any more.
The streets were just starting to empty now even though it was so dark at nihght. Roxas ran as fast as he could in no predetermined direction. He just needed to go somewhere. Anywhere.
Atleast, he thought anywhere.
In the back of his mind something was telling - no, subtly suggesting to - his easily manipulated brain that...
He needed to go there.
