Haine wandered, and waited. It reminded him of the underground, a bit. The scenery killed it though. Fake scenery? Whoever designed this place must have been on a substance Haine didn't have the effort to think about. Probably the forever-told story of the crazy old geezer with abnormally large glasses and wild hair. Such a bore ( ... )

It was a shame he didn't realize Axel could feel the presence of his heart the entire time he was sneaking up there. This guy thought he was good, but nobody was better than Axel. What an interesting brush of egos this little encounter would be, wouldn't it? He simply couldn't wait to see the results of it!

His own smile, which was of course still obscured by his black hood, widened as Haine finally spoke up to him. The Nobody turned his head in the direction of the white-haired individual, and canted it slightly before standing up. He found it easy enough to keep his balance on the small platform the gargoyle he stood behind was supported on.

"How clever of you," he replied. "I'm beginning to like you already."

Haine didn't move any closer to the now-standing figure. He quickly observed the man's appearance to calculate his physical abilites. Not that it mattered in the long-run. Spiked red hair? Alright. This would be interesting.

Haine did not move from his position and raised an eyebrow when the figure spoke.

"How enticing," Haine remarked.

"We have buisness to attend."

"That we do."

Axel's eyes wandered from the other man, and instead, observed the area for a few moment. Then, perhaps simply to show off, he took a step back from Haine and hopped up on the ancient gargoyle's head, his back to the ground below. His arms outstretched- and he gave a mock-childish laugh as he balanced himself against the wind.

"Perhaps we should conduct it in a more conventional place, don't you think?" he replied, and he let himself fall back.

Peculiarly, Axel managed to land on his feet, below - like a cat, crouched down on one knee, his palms supporting him on the pavement. His bright eyes looked up at Haine, encouraging him to come down as well. Slowly, he stood.

He watched as the other man fell to the pavement. "Idiot," Haine muttered to himself. As if no one would notice people jumping off buildings. Sighing to himself, he ran and sprung off the edge of the building, propelling himself higher into the air, clothes rustling from the resistance, finally landing on the opposite side of the street on both feet, a swoosh sounding, one hand to the ground for support. He stood to face the other man.

"Well?" he said, knowing fully well that he would be understood, despite the distance from the other man.

Flashy. This little ego contest was turning out to be pretty funny. Axel laughed to himself as he turned to face Haine, and then reached up-- black gloved hand motioning for him to come near. His hood was then pushed back up on his head, and he turned away, beginning to head on the inside of that abandoned building.

It would be easier to discuss the details in side there.

Haine glanced at the building and followed the cloaked man. He wasn't sure how this would go. He flexed his hand inside his glove a couple of times, making his way toward the entrance of the deteriorating building. Most of the glass windows had been broken and water had taken its toll on the wooden frames. Haine glanced down the street one more time.

He stepped inside, closing the door behind him with a dull thunk.

"Right, so," Axel began, as he heard the noise of the door shut. He turned to face the other man and smiled foxishly, "First, what's your name? Haine Rammsteiner?" The red head laughed, expecting him to be surprised that he had that kind of information already despite the lack of any real exchange just yet. This was definately going to prove to be an interesting encounter, regardless.

"As for me, my name is Cassius." A lie, but how would he know? He didn't have the same access to the network as Axel~

"Yes, I go by Haine," he replied. Cassius, he thought. Oh, he'd heard things already. But Haine didn't say anything about it. No, it'd be much better this way.

"Shall we get to the point? We can skip the formalities, considering you already seem to know so much about me."

"Heh, all right then."

Axel eyed him over for a moment, with some mysterious glint of knowledge in his eyes - he must have known something. But it was probably just an intentional look; he always aimed to seem intimidating anyway. Black boots took him closer to Haine, and he canted his head as he gazed down at him (Axel was a good 6'4", after all), licking his lips almost... predatorly.

"The point. I need some-- supplies. I may also need you to fetch me a few... subjects."
