Content: nala happens to find ed, and tries to eat him.
Setting: somewhere between niflheim and promenade terrace
Time: sunday morning
Warnings: well, nala will try to go all feral on ed's ass. and they're still naked.

So many new smells to sift through, to understand.

One stood out.

Lion.

Turning to put eyes on the thing. It stalked. Attack position. Different form, but still a lion. Fangs, claws... appetite.

Ed grinned.

And laughed.

nala crept closer and closer to the hyena looking creature .. wrinkling her nose. ugh, something was weird about it .. it looked .. extra stupid. the laugh made her wince ; she had always hated that sound. damn hyenas.

closer and closer still, nala ignored the people around her who were wondering what the hell she was doing .. and shen she was close enough, she let out a loud growl, staying low to the ground, staring at the creature with a rather hungry gaze.

The former hyena flopped his cut ears, just watching the creeping creature and giggling the high-pitched cackle of a hyena. He offered no predatory stance, nor violence towards the obvious predator.

He just laughed, sitting on his hindquarters, watching his toes.

nala was sure something was wrong with it's head.

the hyena .. was something wrong with it? it just sat there, giggling like nothing was wrong .. and yet, here she was, a predator, stalking it's soon to be eaten prey. the growl in her throat became lower, more meaningful .. and she stayed perfectly still until awaiting the perfect moment ..

and when the creature looked down at it's toes, nala sprang, her taloned fingers outstretched towards the odd creature.

Ed didn't really react to the fact that he rolled backwards with the lion on top of him, claws digging into his shoulders. How strange it was to think in these terms..

if he was thinking.

He kept on laughing his whining cackle, however, despite the blood that sneaked out the holes in his newly-acquired skin.

In fact, he did something completely strange.

He licked the lion on the snout.

nala snarled, smirking when the blood began to poor out of the hyena, and she was ready to rip at it's jugular when suddenly -- ..

it licked her.

nala blinked in surprise, such surprise that she fell off of the creature with an " AH! ", her bloodied hand moving to her nose .. wiping it off furiously. ugh, that's so gross .. it was all slimy .. ew. when she was sure her nose was clean, she glared at the creature, eyes flashing with fury. " .. .. what .. now i'm really gonna eat you! " and she attacked again.

the people around them much have thought they were .. in a word, retarded.

Cocking a leg behind him, the bloody naked hyena flapped his ears as he rolled backwards, avoiding the claws of the lion's second strike.

Still laughing and laughing as the blood ran down his chest, eyes bulging wildly at the lion.

He stood up awkwardly on his feet and hands, now too long for what he was, and lolled his bright red tongue at her, licking his lips in a none-too-nice way.

nala was quite sure there was something wrong with this animal's head. normally, at the sight of a lion, animals ran away, fleeing for their lives. yet this animal simply .. stood there and giggled. she knew hyenas liked to laugh, but wasn't this a bit too much?

she bared her teeth as she lunged at the animal, flinging her left arm towards the creature, claws outstretched once more. dammit .. she was so hungry .. she just wanted to get this overwith.
