Character(s): Haku, Paine
Content: Haku and Paine go looking for a place to crash for the night.
Setting: Somewhere around Niflheim, but not quite. They're wandering, too, so it's going to change.
Time: Friday Evening

Getting in out of the rain and cold had been an absolutely wonderful experience, especially after the events that had transpired earlier in the day. )

She spent a good few minutes studying it before deciding on a few possible options.
"There's a hotel nearby." She said finally, "And a train station that connects to the rest of the city.

"So, we go to the hotel first and then..." he began, mulling over the train. The effeminate boy was sure that he had heard of them, but he couldn't remember. Perhaps, back before he met Zabuza, he had seen one... "And then, we could take the train in the morning, get ourselves more familiar with this place, or something?"
It sounded like a good idea to him, at least. "...When we get to the hotel, do you think you could show me how to use this thing?" The young shinobi motioned to the journal in her hands, as if to point out exactly which 'this' he was talking about.

It wouldn't be a horribly long walk, at the brisk pase Paine set, but it was still unplesant outside. She couldn't wait to get out of the elements and dry off.

"It didn't really look like you were only just figuring it out," he pointed out. "But I suppose it might just be a familiarity with technology. We never had anything like that back home, though we did have electronic stuff."
And, of course, despite any curiosities to how long it would take for them to get to this hotel, Haku spoke not a word of it. The young shinobi was far too used to long journeys for it to really bother him anymore.
