Content: Haku and Paine go looking for a place to crash for the night.
Setting: Somewhere around Niflheim, but not quite. They're wandering, too, so it's going to change.
Time: Friday Evening

Pain hadn't been in Paixao a whole lot longer than Haku had, but she did seem to have a slightly better sense of how to take care of herself. With a slight shrug, she moved out of the slowing flow of foot traffic and pulled the electronic journal she'd been given from her pouch. She hadn't actually used it yet, nor did she remember quite what that person had told her it was capable of. But, if anything would be useful at the moment it would be a map. So, fussing quickly with the keys, she found the city map.

She spent a good few minutes studying it before deciding on a few possible options.

"There's a hotel nearby." She said finally, "And a train station that connects to the rest of the city.

Haku watched, fascinated as Paine pulled up a map on the journal thing. So that's what they were capable of! He wondered what else they could do.

"So, we go to the hotel first and then..." he began, mulling over the train. The effeminate boy was sure that he had heard of them, but he couldn't remember. Perhaps, back before he met Zabuza, he had seen one... "And then, we could take the train in the morning, get ourselves more familiar with this place, or something?"

It sounded like a good idea to him, at least. "...When we get to the hotel, do you think you could show me how to use this thing?" The young shinobi motioned to the journal in her hands, as if to point out exactly which 'this' he was talking about.

i really need to get on the computer more.

"Sounds good enough to me." Taking one last look at the map, she claped the journal shut and put it back in her pouch of items. "I'll try," she said, about the journal as she began to lead the way, "But i'm only just figuring it out myself."

It wouldn't be a horribly long walk, at the brisk pase Paine set, but it was still unplesant outside. She couldn't wait to get out of the elements and dry off.

Maybe I need to be on it less?

Haku kept up with Paine's pace, and he, too, hoped that it wouldn't take them too long to get where they needed to go.

"It didn't really look like you were only just figuring it out," he pointed out. "But I suppose it might just be a familiarity with technology. We never had anything like that back home, though we did have electronic stuff."

And, of course, despite any curiosities to how long it would take for them to get to this hotel, Haku spoke not a word of it. The young shinobi was far too used to long journeys for it to really bother him anymore.
