"Don't be disheartened. There is always another blossom more lovely to be caught."
Rabi was about to go off down the street in search of other such "blossoms" when he heard a voice behind him. So instead he turned to face the owner of said voice, a slight grin on his face. He couldn't agree more with the statement! (At least, he wanted to ; otherwise he'd really be disheartened.)
"I'm thinking the ones here just don't like me that much," he said with a laugh. It hadn't quite donned on him that he was pretty much just a chick-repellant. He'd just blame it on the weird local girls and leave it at that.
This guy, though... he definitely looked different from everyone else. A nice change from the blonde-haired, blue-eyed norm here. "Please tell me you're not from around here." He'd made a mistake in thinking that everyone was just thrown into this world and going mad, but now he knew where he'd gone wrong! ... if he had gone wrong. Well, maybe. He wouldn't admit it.

Shunsui paused, and it might have seemed somewhat random if onlookers didn't know he was casting about for spiritual auras. Perhaps this red-haired character standing in front of him was wearing an eyepatch to continuously drain his spiritual powers, much like Zaraki Kenpachi? Shunsui was trying to figure it all out, but the alcohol was laughing as it tugged and pulled his mind out of focus.
"...If the women were friendlier." Upon finishing his laborious statement, Shunsui took a few steps from under the awning, scratching at the hair under his hat.
To Shunsui, there seemed to be many clones of Ise Nanao; Everyone worried in their tasks, always busy, never relaxing. They weren't very fun to tease, either. They kept running away before he could properly introduce himself!

He didn't get a chance to finish when Shunsui stepped forward. "...er?" Maybe the big guy wasn't really listening to him as much as he was looking for... whatever he was looking for. Rabi scratched the back of his head nervously and dared to ask: "Uh... did you lose something?"

He gave a huge sigh, as if this was truly a tragic situation. Then he smiled, hoping to put Rabi more at ease. "Who are you?"

Then, of course, he was suddenly questioned... in a manner that made him think the question would be followed by "and what are you doing here?" But this guy was smiling, so he didn't think too much of it. "Call me Rabi," he said, his grin widening as he held his hand out for a handshake. "What about you?"

"Kyourakou Shunsui," said Shunsui, "Pleasure to meet you, pleasure."
After a firm handshake, he let go. Red spots started appearing on Shunsui's pink clothes, and a few raindrops started tapping on his hat.

"Aww, crap..." Rabi crossed his eyes and stared at a raindrop on his nose. "Should prolly go back inside or something..."
Except he had gone out to explore, and hopefully to find good ol' Yuuzilla. Going back inside wouldn't do him much good. Rabi hesitated, then decided to try his luck on Shunsui.
"Say, you wouldn't have seen a guy wearing an outfit kind of like mine, would you? He's about this tall..." On cue he held his hand up to about Kanda's height. "Japanese. Looks kinda like a girl, 'cept he's angry all the time?"
That was the best way to describe him, he figured.

The wind started to pick up. The raindrops were becoming awfully cold. The clouds were grey and hung in the sky ominously. Shunsui drew his hands into his sleeves to keep them warm. His sentiments were similar to Rabi's. Being inside seemed like quite a good idea. Being inside, warm and drunk, sounded even better.

"Can we... uh... move this conversation inside or something?" he asked, smiling brightly like a child would when they were sucking up to their parents in order to get more allowance. He then pointed to the Actua Are. "I'm staying over there, anyway. I was staying with the guy I just told you about, but then he ran off."
