Ziva was standing in the middle of the street, leaning against a light post, listening to the murmuring voices around her. Something or someone was causing quite a stir with the malfunction of the journals. She still had hers in her hand, and was fiddling with it as it kept flickering on and off.

If McGee were here, he would know exactly what was going on with this thing... she thought, glancing up for a moment to see what was going on. And right in time, as she saw a teenage girl running straight towards where she was standing. And it definitely wasn't one of the citizens.

And something wasn't right. Sure, Ziva didn't know this kid, but she could definitely tell something was off...or she was running from something.

As the girl got closer, Ziva pocketed her journal and reached out with a hand to stop her, already getting ready to pull her gun if it ended up that she was being followed.

Ziva did let go when she saw the look on the girl's face, and heard what she said. Was this girl the one causing all the problems with the journals? And if it was...how was she doing it, it didn't make sense.

"What do you mean, trouble?" Ziva asked, switching to glare at anyone who had been chasing the girl. To them, the girl would be her 'issue' now, and she would make sure things were taken care of.

"My name is Ziva." She introduced herself, it seemed the right thing to do at the time.
