Character(s): Teito, and whoever wants to help him Content: Someone doesn't want to be frozen today Setting: Niflheim Time: Night Warnings: Blizzards kinda suck
"... I see," this all seemed pretty confusing, in fact it was barely making any sense at all. The next thing to probably ask then was how to get back 'home', but, maybe that could wait once they were out of the snow first. He will just have to hold on a little longer.
Fortunately for him, it wasn't much longer at all before the pair of them arrived at what served as 'home' for both her and Balthier. It wasn't really all that much to look at, to be perfectly honest. But it was warm and a good deal less snowy, which was surely better than outside. After a brief moment of careful consideration, Fran even held the door open for the young man. It was only polite, and she doubted he would be willing to manage it in his current state.
Once he was properly inside, she followed him on in, letting the door close behind her. More interestingly, perhaps, the sudden return of normal visibility also makes perfectly visible not only Fran's rather unique coloring, but also the set of rabbit ears sitting comfortably - if a little stiffly - on top of her head.
The immediate warmth from just being indoors was pleasing though. Teito paused once he was inside just to take a look around. To be perfectly honest he was not used to seeing quaint homes like this, after spending so much time in dorms and a few other less desirable places, let alone used to someone actually being kind enough to take him in. Even if his stay was possibly only going to be temporary.
"I really appreciate you doing all this for--" he finally turned back towards Fran, having not seen her since they were still outside. Needless to say, he was a bit startled to see her... leporidae like features. Especially now in better clarity.
Fran could hardly speak for Balthier, but she certainly had no intention of offering their home permanently. But it would suit until the worst of the weather was no longer bothering anyone. Past that, he would be on his own as far as lodgings went. However, the stare he was offering provided a more immediate topic of conversion, and Fran shifted a little under his gaze. It wasn't precisely a self-conscious gesture, but it was one that said that she'd seen quite enough staring over the course of her life.
"You're a..." Teito was almost about to call her a rabbit, but considering that more, he was kind of worried that it might have somehow been too offensive. After all she clearly wasn't literally a rabbit or anything. Last thing he needed to do was upset the person that went out of their way to save him.
"Although it's not something that should matter," it was shocking, but, he could get over it.
