From out of a building's shadow came a wolf - well, half-wolf - that on a normal day may have passed by the girl, too caught up in the disappearance of her friends, but this was not a normal day. This was a day that had a strange egg-shaped creature that she had never seen before, and curiosity won out.
Blue padded towards Etna and the prinny with caution, her attention focused on the prinny, but she kept Etna in her sights. She sniffed, cocked her head to the side, and watched what it would do.
Etna looked at the wolf and smiled instantly. It somewhat reminded her of her long dead pet.
The little prinny however, didn't have the same expression of happiness. Tiny sweat drops started to slide down from his blue skin. He was silently praying for the wolf to go away.
"D-dood... You b-better not eat me, dood! Prinnies don't taste good!" his squeaky voice sounded genuinely scared.
"Quiet you! What good are you for anyway? If you turned into food at least you would be useful!" Etna's voice quickly changed for a more pleasant tone "Here, here, wolfie ♥ ! Eheh, are you hungry?"
Blue jumped when the “Prinny” spoke, backing off to show that she wasn't going to eat him. The girl seemed interesting, and non-violent (at least for the moment), and Blue found a sense of familiarity that she hadn’t come across in awhile.
Sometimes a dog just needed to be treated like a dog.
Half-dog.
She plopped down, tilted her head, and looked up at Etna.
