There was nothing like new exploration to increase Jenny's curiosity as she finally got around to entering the Pride Lands. She hadn't been sure how accurate everyones words had been about it had been, but it didn't take long for her to confirm one part of it as her her height seemed to have shortened, and she felt her hands on the ground. Looking down, she realized that they weren't hands at all. Not anymore anyway. They were paws, and they had spots. She turned her head to glimpse her now furry body. It had more spots, and behind her was a long, sleek tail that seemed to share the pattern. She flexed what should have been her fingers, and felt claws digging into the earth. How interesting ( ... )

What kind of idiot leopard approached a lion with a kill? Much less a male lion. Kovu took his eyes off his meal to give the smaller cat a low growl in warning, then shut up as soon as he heard her voice. Wait, wasn't that...? What was she doing here?

He looked back to his kill, then to her again. He couldn't really decide if he wanted company right now or not. "Uh...yeah."

Most of his frustrations from the night before had been taken out while he was hunting his prey, and even though he hadn't slept his mood had drastically improved. Which was a good thing, because Jenny could be nosy.

She sat down, keeping her distance a little, trying to give him a little room. At the same time, she took a good look at his face, noting the scar that hadn't been on his face the last time she had run into him.

"What happened to you?" She asked him curiously.

Right...the scar. Kovu let out a sigh, ignoring the carcass for now and taking a step toward Jenny. "Remember everything I said about my mother? She tried to kill Kiara's father, and I got in her way."

More liked pried her off him tooth and claw, but Jenny didn't need those details. The sooner they could move on from this part of the conversation the better. He'd honestly completely forgotten the scar was even there. Why couldn't everyone else?

"Oh, ouch. That's explains it. Glad to know that you only got out of it with a scar." She told him, remaining where she was. She imagined that couldn't have been a fun time for Kovu, so she instantly moved onto another subject.

"Has anything else happened?"
