Content: Kanaria's been out of energy for a few weeks, and the letters are sent out.
Setting: Wherever Xion is currently.
Time: Late week 30, early evening.

Her... medium? Xion wasn't sure she knew that meant either, though the energy part seemed the main thing. The fact that the doll could fight was a little weird, and she wasn't sure how well it would go if they both had to fight and Xion was being drained, but maybe it would be alright.

She couldn't just let her go back to sleep.

Xion was quiet for a moment, thinking this over, before nodding. "Alright." It might be nice to have someone else around, too. Hiding her... might be a slight problem, but she could make it work. "My name's Xion."

Well, this girl was certainly shy, but that wouldn't stop Kanaria. After all, Micchan was always so professional and serious when she was on the phone or tending to other things. Maybe once Xion got used to the idea of having her around, she'd open up and just like her other Medium had. And besides, she wasn't a terribly needy doll. ....Maybe a little childish, but at least she didn't have the complex Shinku or Hina-Ichigo did.

"Hello, Xion. I'm Kanaria, the second Rozen Maidens!" She grinned and stood up nice and straight with her hands on her hips and her chest puffed out--granted, it wasn't much, since she was the shortest of all the dolls.

"And the smartest doll, kashira!" With a finger to her cheek, she had a coy little smile. "And if you want to be Kana's medium, you only have to promise!" And at that, she held out her little hand, whereupon her middle finger was a dainty ring that Kanaria assumed Xion would realize that she had to kiss.

Xion smiled a little at the doll's antics. She was really cute. "It's nice to meet you, Kanaria." She just hoped that she'd do ok with this... medium thing. Especially since Kanaria seemed to have one that she'd really liked before.

When the doll held out her hand, Xion was, once again, puzzled. "I... promise?" she said. It seemed there was supposed to be more to it than the words, but she couldn't tell what that might be.

Blagh, updating icons sucks.

There was this awkward moment of tension between them when her hand was stared at and Xion just kinda..said she promised. "E-eh.."

There were a couple of blinks and more silence as she gave this girl a little more time to possibly figure it out. To Kanaria, it was pretty obvious what needed to be done, but..well, she remembered that such acts were rarely used these days. This wasn't like the Victorian age she was made in after all, despite the strangely similar style most people had in clothing, so..she figured she shouldn't be so surprised when Xion didn't know what to do. Maybe it was best she explained it..

"W-well..You're supposed to kiss Kanaria's ring, kashira!"

"Oh." Well, that would explain why the doll was holding out her hand. It didn't make much sense to Xion, though. Still, she could do it pretty easily. If... given a moment to wrack her brain to remember exactly what a kiss was supposed to be.

After thinking a getting a vague idea of what she was doing, Xion leaned down and kissed the ring lightly. That... should do it, right?
