Time: Early afternoon

Luckily for her, she wasn't the only person out in the Pridelands. Squall had mostly gone out to explore out of a combination of boredom and curiosity, and had stayed... well, mostly because he had yet to explore the full range of possibilities of the form he'd found himself in. Well, that and if he was exploring another world he could ignore some of the stranger things that had been happening of late.

For now, anyway, and that was all he asked. Sometimes he just needed to... get away from things for a while. If this was what it took, well, he supposed he could deal with that. Having other animals suddenly show up as well was more than a little unexpected, but he could tolerate it for the time being.

"Need a hand?"

The good thing about Priere was that while she could flip out and panic like no other when things went weird, it didn't usually last very long, nor did she tend to show it in front of strangers. As soon as she heard she wasn't alone, she straightened up... well as much as a rhino could, pretending she hadn't freaked out earlier. "Uhhh, yeah," she finally said. "Do you know where we are and how exactly did I get here? I was in my living room about a minute ago!"

However, she couldn't help couldn't help but be a bit annoyed after she finally got around at looking him over. Great... another lion. It's not that she hated them, just that her last encounter with one turned sour very fast. At least this time she would be bigger than him if he felt like starting anything.

Did he know? Why would he know? He hadn't heard of the world doing anything like that on a regular basis, and he had to admit he hadn't really been paying a whole lot of attention to what people had been saying on the network. It hadn't seemed all that important.

"It's called the Pride Lands," he answered, with something that at least superficially resembled a shrug. He wasn't about to start anything. There wouldn't be any point to it.

"Ooookay..." Priere answered, obviously unsatisfied with the answer. That didn't really tell her anything. "And what exactly is this? Just another floor in the Castle or something else?" Sure, she had no idea if the lion standing before her was just another regular person like her trapped in the city, or if he was someone else, but at this point it's not like she really cared about being called crazy if it was the latter.

A thoroughly awkward floor of the castle, sometimes, but another floor all the same. And at the very least he didn't particularly mind looking like he currently did, although he had a sneaking suspicion things might get a little interesting if it came to a fight. He was pretty sure he'd actually need thumbs to work a gunblade properly.
