SORRY SO SLOW sumofallfayth April 30 2011, 16:15:30 UTC
Yuna happened to be turned in the opposite direction when the next wormhole opened, but she heard the screaming from behind her. Reacting instinctively, she whipped around, pulling out her guns as she went, just in case there was a fiend behind her.

But the creature lying on the ground muttering and making noises wasn't moving towards them to attack. Yuna glanced at Lenne and shrugged. "I don't know." She paused, wondering what to do. "I'll go look."

Sticking one of her guns back in its holster at her hip, she took a few slow steps toward the creature. If it didn't get up before she got there, she'd kneel down next to it and try to turn it over.

Awkward situation escape wormhole is go? DX lyricalsummons June 2 2011, 21:22:27 UTC
Lenne had followed closely behind Yuna, partly eager to find out what the creature was, and partly just to keep an eye on Yuna. While Lenne was perfectly confident that her friend knew how to take care of herself... it didn't mean she would just stand there and watch her walk into potential danger, however unlikely it appeared, at that moment.

"It seems to be alright... relatively," Lenne observed out loud, unable to discern the mutterings. It had taken quite a fall, but still seemed to be alive and relatively unharmed, all things considered. How peculiar. She had just placed her hand on Yuna's shoulder, bracing herself to bend over, possibly reach out to the creature and offer it a hand... when it happened.

The now familiar sensation of being sucked into a vacuum started to pull at her, and she had almost enough presence of mind to swear her frustration, and tried to shove Yuna away from her, not wishing to drag her through the agony of the wormhole that had just opened up beneath her feet.

This was going to be a long day.

Zim is welcome to wormhole it up with them later, too! sumofallfayth June 4 2011, 17:38:03 UTC
"I hope you're right."

Yuna had just managed to kneel down next to the creature - person? - when she felt Lenne's push against her side. Wheeling around instinctively, Yuna drew her guns in an effort to protect her friend from what she thought was a fiend-

-And instead found herself falling through the same wormhole thing that Lenne was falling into. The sensation was nothing like anything Yuna had ever experienced and she tucked herself into a little ball to avoid hitting anything on her way. She just hoped she wouldn't land somewhere particularly painful when she did manage to get out of whatever this was.

But of course~...forgot to mention that. DX <3! lyricalsummons June 9 2011, 00:54:58 UTC
Just when Lenne was sure she was going to pass out from her inability to breathe, she hit the ground. Hard. Hoping she'd managed to push Yuna away from the wormhole, Lenne slowly sat up and took a look at her latest location. She took in a deep breath and let it out a little shakily, glancing down to find what exactly broke her fall. The ground beneath her shimmered, and she could see through it to the forest floor, a fair distance below.

"Well, some things haven't changed."

Yuna was lucky enough not to land on Lenne, but it was a close call and involved a bit of turning in midair once she saw that she was headed on a crash course with her friend. Hitting the ground, she released a huge breath of air in a very loud, "Ow!"

Lenne's voice called her back and Yuna slowly sat up, rubbing her elbows. "That hurt," she pouted, glancing at the other girl. It looked like they'd landed in Macalania. Hm. "At least we didn't land up on Mount Gagazet?"
