Character(s): Xion and Hope Content: A random meeting! Hope finds someone who looks is his age! Setting: Around the shop area Time: Week 28 Warnings: ADORABLE. ( Xion was, or had been, a bit of a workaholic. )
This "Paixao" place had turned out to be pretty boring. Well, boring, and full of drama. Hope hadn't even been here a day before his Eidolon had appeared out of nowhere. And that guy Terra had a lot he needed to work out...or that's how it looked, anyway.
Hope shook his head as he walked toward the shopping district. He hadn't seen much of the city yet, and this was a good chance to. Maybe he could meet somebody new while he was out, too. It had beena while since he'd made any new friends, and if there was one thing he'd learned since he got here last week, it was that no one here, other than him and Light, knew what a l'Cie was. He wasn't a monster anymore, not here.
He spotted someone in a black hood, sitting alone. "Hey," he said, trying to get their attention. They were small, so he was betting they were his age, or at least close to it. It would be nice to meet someone who wasn't so much older than he was for once.
Xion looked up at the voice, letting go of her hood at almost the exact time the wind decided to blow stronger. It whipped the hood off her face, leaving it entirely exposed. Which, considering what usually happened with her...
She grabbed it and pulled it back on immediately, desperately hoping that either he hadn't seen, or the voice that was about to come out would fit with the face. "Um... hi."
"Uh...I just saw you sitting by yourself, and uh...You look like you're about my age, and...you don't look like one of the natives, so..." They were all blond, and her hair was black, so...that should mean she was brought here, just like he was, right?
Hope shifted around on his feet. This would be easier if he wasn't talking to a girl...
"Oh..." Well, he wasn't freaking out. That was good, right? The lower half of her face was visible underneath the hood, so she have him an encouraging little smile. Though... this was kind of tricky for her, too.
"I'm not. A native, I mean." She looked up at him. Since he was talking about them, he must be one of the people from the gate. "I'm Xion. Um... what's your name?"
"I'm Hope," he answered, trying not to blush or look stupid. He imagined he probably wasn't doing a very good job.
"Are you by yourself for a reason?" If she was, he'd leave her alone. He was never very good at cheering people up...his had mom always ended up helping him.
