Characters: Sora, Kovu, Kairi, possibly Kiara? (with a small cameo by Woody)
Content: Sora and Kairi go to talk to Kovu.
Setting: Palazzo Townhomes, then Jogo da Crianca
Time: Dusk
Warnings: Emo lion?

( After Kovu's last reply to him, Sora closed his journal, and hopped of his bed )

Woody was barely paying attention to who was Sora talking to. He’s use to people talking on the phone, or texting before while he was still in the same room. Woody was just resting across Sora’s bed, his hat covering his eyes. Woody bounced awake though once Sora jumped out of the room, off to God who knows where.

Blinking, Woody’s mouth kinda hanged open, in surprise. Sora didn’t even say where he was going. He stared for a bit, then grumbled. “Ok… I think I’m considering a beeper for that kid,” Woody sighed as he flopped back onto the bed.

Kairi wasn’t busy; she had actually just been laying on her bed day-dreaming for the most part. But she answered the knock on her door quickly, peeking out into the hall to see Sora standing there. She smiled at him, opening the door the rest of the way, “Hi Sora.” He looked ready to get going somewhere... what was he up to?

"What is it?"

"Kovu's feeling kinda down, Kairi, and I thought maybe you could help me cheer him up?"

Sora cut right to the chase, he wanted to get over to the park as soon as he could.

"Kovu?" The smile she had a moment ago faded quickly. Kairi had only spoken to him once, and somehow had managed to get on the lion's bad side very quickly. She hadn't meant to of course, but it seemed like the more she had tried to help and understand what Kovu's distress, the worse she had made the situation. Eventually, she had just stopped talking, hoping to keep his opinion of her from degrading further. He had been pretty mad, if she remembered correctly.

Shaking her head slightly, Kairi stepped back into her room, "I don't think you're going to want me to come along. Kovu.... doesn't really like me very much."

"How could he not like you, Kairi?" Sora replied, maybe Sora was a little biased, but he couldn't imagine anyone not liking Kairi. There must have been some mistake, or misunderstanding.

"Besides, you're a lot better listener than I am"
